PSG creates premium NFT tickets for Japan tour

French soccer team Paris Saint Germain (PSG) is resuming its Japanese tour for the first time in 27 years, and this time premium tickets for its scheduled matches are being sold in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).



SKAUT reports from the official website of Paris Saint-Germain JAPAN TOUR 2022 that, PSG is selling non-fungible token (NFT) tickets for friendly matches against local teams in Japan this month. Each ticket costs 30 million yen, which is about $218,817 in American currency.


On the team’s official tour website, until Wednesday, purchasers have the opportunity to purchase three premium NFT tickets for each of the three games.


Buyers of PSG Japan Tour tickets will be able to access the VIP section of the venue and have personal interactions with some of PSG's star players and take pictures with them. The team's first game in Japan will be on July 20 against J1 League team Kawasaki Frontale.


It has been announced that the team’s top football players Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappé, and Lionel Messi will accompany them on their tour of Japan.
