MoonPay has officially entered the Brazilian market through our sponsorship of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, the country’s most popular football team.
As part of the deal, MoonPay will help Flamengo leverage NFTs and web3 to deepen fan engagement.
MoonPay is also becoming a major sponsor of Flamengo’s basketball team, whose new season starts later this month.
A report states that the fiat on-ramping service, which is now a web3 infrastructure provider, will try to get fans more involved with the football club through ticket sales, marketing, and merchandise.
