The Italian luxury designer Gucci is teaming up with NFT art platform SuperRare to release “The Next 100 Years of Gucci,” a series of NFT art which celebrates the brand’s heritage and looks to its future.
“The Next 100 Years of Gucci,” will feature 10 NFT artists who are asked to reflect on the brand's 100-year legacy and present their vision for the next chapter.
"The Next 100 Years of Gucci," is one of three partnerships between the company and SuperRare. Gucci also bought $25,000 worth of $RARE tokens.
Gucci has recently embraced Web3, teaming up with collectibles company SUPERPLASTIC to launch SUPERGUCCI, a limited series of CryptoJanky NFTs and ceramic sculptures. The Italian brand also recently partnered with 10KTF on a series of NFTs called Gucci Grail.
You can bid on the pieces from Gucci’s Vault Art Gallery directly through the Vault website. You’ll have until July 15 to participate in the auction, or you can wait to see what the third installment brings when it launches on July 21.
